Just in case anyone hasn't been to Radio Shack to get fresh batteries for their Irony Meter, I was being completely tongue-in-cheek when I started this thread.
My charge is full sir!
I thought it was hilarious! In fact I read it in that nasal 1930's style newsreel voice in my head...well done sir!4kidsandacatdog wrote:

http://i.imgur.com/OkiGhi9.jpg- 4junk3000New SpectatorI've taken a hiatus. Was waiting for this to just go away. Seems they have a plan for a final act after all. Some day in the future I'm going to use all these flower walls and wish I had just... one... more...
No biggie. I got enough out of this event. And I'm simply sick of crafting. I hope this doesn't become a repeating mechanism for future events. 4junk3000 wrote:

Yes! I love the community prize idea it fees so...community haha.
I also would like them to get rid of the cap on neighbourhood visits, I think it discourages people from visiting all their neighbourinos, but I'm willing to keep visiting all my 'rinos anyway. Plus your neighbours don't get any benefit from you visiting in this event - again seems discouraging.joniferous wrote:

Not only do they not gain -- they don't even know you were there. Even assuming you had 80 mutants to drop every day, (As if.) Those disappear after a certain time ... Didn't they?- Few hundred more notes and I get some donuts.
Trying to decide between another cane field or a couple walls.
Feelin' fine. annettemarc wrote:

Yes, they disappeared eventually.
I have not been able to think of a better system than is there now for helping neighbors that would not allow whatever EA thinks is exploitation of feeder towns.
If we're only concerned about who is visiting, why not have a building that when you tap it, gives you a scrolling list of all the people that visited in the last 24 hours.neuroheart wrote:

Another round of donuts in both my towns. I got another cane field, and since yesterday I've been assigning people to get cash (except for Cecil and red-box).joniferous wrote:

During the last Christmas event, I managed to squeeze out as many neighbors as much as I could just to get bells, and used to frequently delete people from my friend list if they weren't active for the past 24 hours. Even up to the point where I get 1 friend point per "assistance", and three points per neighbor, totaling 60 neighbors. Now during this update, even 2-pointers aren't considered unless they help out with the event.
Now this requirement is less stringent. If you haven't updated since the last event, you get the boot, if you have an Origin account instead of Facebook.
