- I am a Freemium player so I didn't have many to lose. I had 63 or 68, can not 100% for sure remember. I am now down to 37. I tried going through EA's chat now. It never would connect.
- JedihntrNew SpectatorI just contacted EA for the 4th time, and I was in the middle of getting my 4th "We're working on a fix, blah blah blah" response when I got just a little pushy (I've been very polite and patient every time I've chatted with someone). I explained how people here have reported getting their donuts restored immediately by an EA rep and I offered up my info and mayhem number outright five minutes later and I have my donuts back.
I'm happy to have my donuts returned (though he never asked for proof and I could have told him any number at all), but this just shows a total lack of consistency with EA's support, something many of us can say we've experienced over the years. - My wife has now lost donuts for the second time. 9 of them. I was watching her play at the time. She was not doing anything but putting people on SH tasks, and donut confirm was on. She got them back from EA.
I'm not playing SH until this is fixed. I'll concentrate on my RTTF town. Neglecterino wrote:

I was thinking about that. Even if some people do get their donuts back, they can just lose them again, since the actual problem isn't fixed. They need to FIX the problem first, then worry about giving donuts back.- Okay, it's now Monday and here in Europe it's already evening - I don't want to be impatient, but where's that patch that's supposed to fix this issue and restore everyone's donuts (as the customer service has apparently promised many players)?
For five days we have been plagued by one of the worst bugs a game like this could possibly experience (one that steals people's money) and - besides some erratic donut returning/promising everything will be alright by the customer service - literally nothing has happened.
And since this company absolutely refuses to communicate with its players and customers in any way, we don't have a single clue about how this will (or can) be handled.
Luckily, I haven't been affected by this sudden donut loss because I stopped doing the SH quests before opening the tunnel, but to be quite honest, I think it is really about time that something happens. They either need to release a patch (that at least fixes the problem so that the premium currency is safe from now on) very soon or someone needs to finally issue some sort of official statement on the problem - after all, this is not just a case of "oh, this annoys me a bit, it's not a lot of fun, please change this", for many of you guys this is about real life money.
I am truly staggered by the indifference and disregard they have been showing - even an issue as serious as this doesn't seem to prompt any official response from the devs... TADAKACOOKIE wrote:

And depending on how they coded it, if you "lose" another donut, it could go negative, and if that is stored in the wrong type variable then you could get a huge amount of donuts. Let us know if that happens.- I lost 26 donuts tried help chat and waited and waited finally gave up
- OK, spoke to Harshit on the EA online chat. Harshit repeatedly told me the issue was being looked into, and he gave me the link to the TSTO forum and told me to post on here about my issue. Apparently EA use these forums as a guide to see the number of people affected. Still 18 donuts down. Sigh.

Check that your donut confirm is still on. Please report back here.- I just contacted EA again after they closed my case (In the first chat I was assured no worries EA is working on it), and asked why my case was closed with no donut restoration? After all these are the last few hours to purchase those two limited time mansions. This time I was given the donuts.
For those who understandably are not Playing SH yet, I guess you just lose out on limited time stuff. :(
