ok my reply is gone but took another screenshot of last step
Once you find a piece of the stone, the gem will be in one of the spots marked with an X.

This is the final one ;) Hard to get clearly as it disappears quick. You'll either have a 4 block T shape or 3 block T shape as in this pic.
