I just wish it allowed searching or jumping to the first letter of a character's name.

Ideally it would offer a filter so you could hide from the list anyone Waiting for something to do.
I'd also be happier if they have would make the box size bigger. Show me more than a few characters at once, let me scroll more easily.
There are plenty of ways the Census could be improved. Maybe 2016 in the year in which that will happen.
But likely not.
