Gees, settle down guys. :shock: :P
It's the same as every other TSTO event. The "timer" finishes, but it takes an App Store update to remove the event & revert the game icon.
The update (App Store) will happen in the next few hrs (usually happens overnight for me, so sometime in the next 8hrs). After updating, you'll then get ANOTHER (in-game, this time) download for any additional changes.
This also gives those who want to keep going the chace to do so... well, until the App Store update becomes mandatory (usually a couple of days).
It happens this way every time. Apart from the alleged "cut-off time for crafting" (that was coded differently this time), why should anything else be expected?
