I don't have Otto, so I don't know about him, but I'm having the same problem with grampa and sometimes Lisa.mit doesn't bother me too much because I don't want to play constantly so sometimes I just leave the game before collecting everything, but I noticed it as well. Don't know if it's just a bug

Just makes it tough if you're playing hard for a period of time, tapping everything as soon as it's ready and timing your play. Not a horrible thing as bugs go, just annoying

Do you have a piece of road in front of the building? This solved it for cme!

Honestly, I do it myself. It doesn't slow you down.

No problem!! I was starting to think I was the weirdo going on long rants everybody realised were wrong but him!! Glad I managed to help somebody in the end, and that we discovered I was partly right, it's just not something happening on Android!! Bear in mind that it might also happen with Legs at the LA Body Works, and maybe Cletus at the IoT, as they are quicker than Otto and Abe, but maybe fractionally slower than the rest.

I kept meaning to see what this thread was about...

I was having a big time problem with this, then I came up with a solution.

What works for me:

Put ONE square of road/street directly in front of the building where the characters "come out" of the building (they're actually standing there, they've just been made invisible). Characters are programmed to randomly pick a direction and head to the nearest road in that direction (though they will sometimes stop and re-evaluate). The characters will stay on that square of road directly in front of the building because they're already on it.

Also noticed this, but I thought it was built into the game - Otto is a stoner, Grandpa is old and forgetful, and I don't know what Louie is up to but someone might know a reason for him leaving his task area.

Lisa for me is now also wondering , so she and grandpa are totally ruining my groove.

ETA - I just tried the road trick with only one slab outside the coffee shop and Grandpa is still walking off so that did not work for me .

I don't know why it's happening with Lisa, but I suppose it's plausible you're going too fast for her task completed animation.

Check whose task completion animation lasts longest-it should be Abe-then you know who the real problem is, because if you can sort Abe out, Lisa will be sorted by proxy.
