Couldn't actually connect to EA's servers until around September. I had given up and didn't try again until then. Just played offline.
I think I first posted here at the beginning of the Halloween event looking for friends, since you could paper trees and get extra candy from tapping your neighbors Halloween buildings. I still remember the threads of people asking if EA would let us keep the buildings/graveyards once the event ends. Good times. - I started in July of 2013 during the Independence Day Event. I only knew I had to figure out a good way to generate donuts. I had a slow start.
- I started on Feb 6, 2013 and have played almost every day since.
- Valentine event 2012.
- I started playing August 2012 but I played anonymously until Whacking Day. I didn't start posting here until I (for some crazy reason) started my second town.
- I started playing in July 2012, in time for the first episode tie-in, the Duff Racer.
- I started playing this game a just a few month before the 2015 Halloween event.
- started day 1 fond memories when my coworker let me play on his iPad since android didn't play it yet. then android become a thing for it and boom.

This is a great idea. So many fun events that many people will never have a chance to enjoy. I still have fond memories of my first event, Halloween 2012. Not to mention the untappable Mayan god that has been wandering my town ever since.
unfortunately it's impossible with how the game is setup due to all mechanics and stuff friend visits and Temp stuff in and linked to server etc. would be a nightmare to program - right after it was released on Android. I was house sitting and bored and decided to look for games on my phone. Simpsons was new and recommended and free! "Life Ruiningly fun" i laughed.... right.... i started and got the first 1 hour mission and was like, this is the dumbest thing ever.... i gotta wait an hour to continue to play? next thing i know I'm scrambling for my phone when i get that notification.... even woke me up that night and i had to get more missions in......
sigh...... and here i am in 2018 still.....
