When the thoh event starts there will be premium items that expire after a week or so, and those that will be available for the entire event (usually 40 days).
My advice is: if there is a quickly-expiring item that you absolutely must have, buy it immediately and then start working on your multipliers, you could build up a lot in those 40 days and still get the other stuff.
