I'm still digging too. I really like most of the event decorations this time around.

I think it would be so cool if someone got a task to use the rowboat and they rowed around Squidport.

I'm really hoping the panini press turns into some awesome entire town clearing device every 24 hours.

I'm also curious how the excavation site gets used after the event. Hopefully they continue with some mini game idea and don't just make it earn income.

I just went back 4 pages to see if anyone had started a thread about what will happen with the excavation site. It's a neat mini-game. I hope we can continue to play.

Most likely because these events are planned months in advance, and he wasn't established as a character by the time this event's planning began.
