You could visit neighbours and clean graffiti, that brings your righteousness back up (in some wierd nonlinear way) but its much easier to buy training walls. Mind you there is then no real reason to visit your neighbours between events as who cares about the miserable bonus xp you gain.

Approximately 3,131 XP for visiting 100 neighbors + Other Springfield - which, depending on your multiplier, is the same as buying between one to three weather stations @ roughly $10,000 each. I still visit out of habit, to see how my neighbors progress, and because I do it while doing something else.
