When I started I was naughty to other Springfield but I am nice 100% with my neighbors

Same here. I'm nice when I drop and nice when I click the presents dropped for me.

I don't think it's "harsh". That implies over reacting. if they prefer a less selfish neighborhood, that's their choice.

I'll be deleting my naughty neighbors once the gift exchange ends. I'm not going to cut off any supply of presents, but i prefer a town of cooperative, rather than competitive, neighbors.

Are people basing naughty neighbors they are going to drop simply by the meter or if a neighbor was naughty to them? My meter shows I am naughty, but that's because I am being naughty to my feeder town. I am nice to my neighbors who drop gifts but I don't have time to drop a gift in everyone's town. I am just returning the favor from those that are collecting and dropping presents. My feeder town gets a naughty action every time so my meter is averaging around 50%

I'm nice to my feeder towns so that way they can get limited time items as well :D

1 present = 15 bows for each town.

That is, when im not trading presents with other people. :mrgreen:

So far, I haven't deleted any neighbors who have been naughty to me. I also don't go by how red they are on the leaderboard. I realize that they may have feeder towns or "experimented" in the beginning. I have been 100% nice since the beginning.

My main concern is that we are only given 5 presents a day to drop in other towns. That is not anywhere near enough to reward all of my neighbors who have been so helpful during past events. If you are one of my neighbors in that category, I will get to you as soon as possible (sooner if you leave me a nice present). The vast majority of my neighbors are awesome and I would never delete them even if they gave me a naughty present. They just won't get any presents from me until I get a nice one.

However, I did have one neighbor this morning drop a naughty present behind a building that was nowhere near my landing zone. I only found it while tapping the building for rent. This I don't understand. I could understand it if it was a building in my landing zone, but to make me hunt for a naughty present? I may have to rethink my do not delete policy. If you are this neighbor and read this, leave me a nice present and all will be forgiven. :wink:

I've changed my tactics a bit. The idea is to match what your neighbour has done so if you both are nice then you share the bows but if you are nice and your neighbour is naughty you only get one and your horrid neighbour the rest. Now if you are both naughty you get 5 each. So I always give nice but when collecting if I have several presents and the first one tapped comes up as naughty with one bow then I will do naughty for the next one as I assume they are from the same person. No one has given me more than three so after that I go back to being nice again. I only give presents to those who have given me nice presents during the previous 24hrs.

Yup! It took me a few days to figure out the system, so I did some "naughtys". Now I'm just "nice"!
