Presumably the mods can see who is abusing the flagging system and take appropriate action?
I get the need for it to be anonymous for any of the genuine reasons why a post might need flagging, but this kind of abuse only serves to undermine the whole process.
Those who have been around a while might remember that one of the reasons why we now find ourselves on "EA forum 2.0" was to cut down on the spamming & trolling that afflicted version 1.0.
With that change came the probationary vs full member status and more restrictive filters etc.
Maybe the offender needs to be put back on probation until they've calmed down? Or maybe the mods need to start a "Flag Offenders Register"?
What nobody needs is a version 3.0 with every post inspected by the mods before it goes public, so please let's end this now.
