I put a lake across the street from Homers house with a small park, now Bart and Milhouse can go fishing and the Simpsons have lake front property.

@^ You should've called it Olde Springfield and New Springfield! :P (If you get that reference, good for you! :D )

In our Capital Citi, San Jua, PR, we have two bridge over the sea that is called two brother bridge, I tried to emulated those two bridges.

I currently have a number of rivers in my version of Springfield. In one of my concessions to reality, one of them flows past the nuclear power plant (cooling purposes, I guess). Ultimately, when I'm able to purchase enough land, my notion is that those different branches will link up. The underlying idea is that that the river empties into Lake Springfield, but I won't be able to implement that specific idea until the programmers make the strip of land adjacent to the lake available for use by gamers.

Hi, I am going to make an 'island' Sprinfield. Each building and 'characteristic' house is to be surrounded by the water (I have 20 white, 10 blue and 8 pink housses, and I will sell them soon). Fortunately I have all the buildings so I don't need to spend money for a building anymore. I am gathering money and buying lands. My Springfield is expanding :)

I have an 8 piece purple house patch (I don't think that's big enough to be called a full farm) that I'm kind of incredibly ashamed of. It's in a far corner. So it's blocked off by a long bridged river which also extends to block off the subatomic supercollider and the nuclear power plant. I also have a tiny bridge platform with one square of river attached somewhere near the back of the power plant, and when I expand in that area I plan to extend that all the way around it. I have a lot of plans for the future with the bridges/rivers but not enough land to execute them. Soon though!

I have a pond in my park, and some rivers with bridges. Nothing too fancy.

I use lots of water, almost like a Venice look.

i now have a "0" of pavement where all my characters walk(easier to find them) surrounded by water. and built a moat around the cleatus farm

I put a river in the middle of my springfield used it as a divider to split my town into 2. One side is the slums with the muntz house, cletus' farm, the nuclear plant and brown houses and the other is the 'nice' neighborhood where the school, church, flanders, van houten and simpsons are.

I also used it as a moat around my prison. I layered it with a moat around the prison, normal fence, trees and chain fence. My maximum security prison. haha.

I have a river running along the mountains and the nuclear plant backs onto this. Just created today a small park outside the townhall with a horseshoe shape of wate with the Jeddibah statue as the feature.
When have all the buildings will expand and use a lot more water. Visually water makes the Springfield more appealing.

I have a small pond behind the Simpsons house and another in the retirement castle. The Gilded Truffle and Springfield Downs are adjacent to my main river, wich then surrounds the penitentiary .

Also, there is a sewer near the power plant for disposal.

I use water extensively. Whenever I buy a new plot of land, I turn it all into water and then start building land on it. I like to think of my town as an island chain connected by bridges.

At the moment I'm just buying as much land as I can so that I can spread it all out and make it even more watery. If they end up adding boats, I'll be in heaven. Unless they make them premium. Then I'll just be broke. ;)

I made a swimming pool for the apartment building, a lake near the power plant/cemeteries/church, a moat around the prison, and a river through the "entertainment district" that I made (it has the theater, Luigi's, Skip's and the coffee shop).
