Same here looks like we r stuck until the next update.

Here's what happened to me... Did this happen to anyone else?Everything was fine through 2/15/13 update, until I finished building Wiggums House. After I selected Wiggums to drop it into place, a side task appeared to collect tax on my buildings. I think it was 20 homes that I had to tap. After I completed that task the pop up announced I had just completed "The Tax Man Cometh" and to collect my reward. After I tapped the "Continue" button the screen froze and the "harp sound" started. It froze for about a minute so I closed the game completely on my iPad2. When I opened the game again a prompt read that I had not completely closed the game on my other device and did I want to continue because some of my progress would be lost. I selected "continue" and the game appeared to start loading but never opened past the "Tapped Out" screen (the donut stopped turning). Meanwhile, the annoying harp sound started again.I tried opening the game from my husband's iPod touch 4 (he can access the game without any problems), but I get the same result...it sticks on the Tapped Out screen, the donut stops turning and the harp sound starts.I have the latest iOS. I have completely deleted the game from my iPad, turned off & restarted my iPad, then re-installed the game. When I start the game it again says I had not completely closed the game so I select continue and it hangs up on the Tapped Out screen with the annoying harp sound and frozen donut.I have completely deleted and reinstalled about 4 or 5 times, but have the same result.I even had my husband log into his Springfield on my iPad. It works for him, but when I try to log on it does the same thing.Ugh! Please fix the bugs!!! I have spent real cash on Premium items and it's super annoying.

Same here, after complete the task "This Little Wiggy Pt. 1" the app crashed and is frozen after tapping the username :/

This is happening to many people and no one can figure out a way to alert EA. Their customer service on all sides just leads to these forms which no one important appears to monitor.

Yes, is the same error. I dont foind any troubleshoot in EA site. Yesterday I posted a message in EA site, now waiting... :cry:

I don't believe these forums are looked at by anyone at EA. I have taken the following steps and would encourage anyone else having the frozen screen do the same:

1) Contact EA directly at https://help.ea.com/contact-us
You will get a case number and a form letter, but at least it's something. I submitted to multiple catagories (i.e. Tech Support, Feedback, Billing)

2) If you've made in app purchases contact apple. I used the emailed receipt with a report a problem link. Inform them you've made a purchase but aren't able to use it because of the developers error.

3) Leave a negitive rating and review on iTunes. Game rankings are something devolpers care about because it effects placement on the home screen and best of lists, and negitives discourage new users.

You must have the harp freeze. Try plugging in your device and turning your auto-lock to never. Then just let the game sit on the loading screen for 15-30 minutes. If the game crashes in the first 10 minutes, then ty tapping the loading screen for the whole time. Just keep on trying which one is lasting longer before a crash. If none of these work, try logging in on another device. ( Iphone 5 seems to be getting a lot of people back in). Good luck!

Plugging In the device and turning off auto lock does not work. Have tried at least 20 times to do this the last 3 days now. I have over 200 donuts and 700 hearts waiting for me but can't access them! Have also uninstalled and reinstalled several times with no result. Left negative feedback and emailed EA under 3 different problem issues over this just praying they pay attention. By the time the next update comes, valentines will be over and all our hearts gone!
:-(
Please EA, get your stuff together and fix it before tapped out rehab and the harp of doom drive us insane!

What is that "CR..P" you are suggesting there imfkool? Trying to login for an hour than play for 5 minutes to get kicked out again and trying it for another hour? I don not know how much time you have to waste? I have not that much
