Hard lock on UFC 5 career

So I’ve tried restarting my game multiple times, but when I’m going to my career mode and trying to simulate to the next week, I’m getting a text that I am forced to respond to now those responses aren’t popping up and I can’t click anything to get out of the screen. Does anybody know what I can do to fix this or what caused it
