UFC 5 longevity

So I just bought the ultimate edition of ufc 5. I was looking forward to it when I bought it . I started playing it and I liked it. I started a Career and im enjoying it a lot. The only downfall is this longevity for my fighter. I’m 32-4 I’m the light heavyweight champion and my career is almost over due to my longevity pretty much at its end. There’s no way to disable it so my fighter can keep fighting. It’s a game and should be  made to have fun not figure out how to balance out the longevity. Can EA fix this with a patch to be able to disable the longevity in the game. Otherwise what’s the point in making these games.
