I'm running a fanatec podium f1 wheelbase with clubsport v3 pedals all connected to the ps5 via usb and I'm unable to accelerate off the line after the countdown. I have to put the car in reverse and then back into first gear in order to get going. has anyone else had this issue?

Has the dead-zone advice fixed your issue? Do you us a discrete device for handbrake?

The deadzone hasn't fully fixed the issue for me. It has helped somewhat. I am using a dedicated device for the handbrake. It's fanatec's handbrake which is is apart of their eco system and it's picked up in the game.
Rebind your handbrake again, restart the game and then (if it is an analogue handbrake) recalibrate its axis.
I had this issue a couple of times, once after updating the firmware on my handbrake and once after reinstalling the game and rebinding everything.

If all else fails, take a screenshot of your FFB settings and control bindings for safe keeping, reinstall and start from scratch.
