Co-driver calls are difficult to hear

Hello!

I found the co-driver calls difficult to hear even with their sound setting on maximum, and everything else on minimum.

After about 3-4 stages, I can't really hear them anymore, because the low sound quality of their microphone and the similar engine volume makes their words blend in with the engine sounds for me, and I end up having to read the cards on top of the screen.

Because of this, many times I miss calls which make me end up going straight without braking when the corner was hidden behind a crest.

I am aware that this sound quality is the authentic rally experience, but it is nearly impossible for me to enjoy the game like this.

I highly prefer enjoyment over 100% authenticity.

Please add a co-driver option who is easy to hear and understand.

Thank you!

  • @RudenzU Not sure if you've tried this but I found the female co-driver much easier to hear over the engine noise.

Also you can do what I did, go into the audio settings and turn down engine noise, road noise etc but leave the co-driver on 100
  • I have done that, co-driver is on max, everything else on min.
Both english co-drivers are super hard to hear, especially after a few stages.
They just blend with the engine noise, and my brain starts to ignore them, so I have to read the cards.

Tried DR2, to see if the sound difference is just my imagination, and it is not, Phil is loud and clear, so I am going to stick with that game until something is done with this one.

  • @RudenzU Hello, I'm facing the same issue as you.
We're eagerly awaiting a dedicated splitter for the co-driver's voice.
Alternatively, I would prefer being able to route the audio to a different device.

Have  you looked in your TV or pc audio options to see if you can increase dialogue volume.   I increased the slider by a click and made a much improved difference

  • @RudenzU Basically having the same problem, All else being equal, I cannot lower the engine noise lower than 50%, to even out codriver, surface/tires/gravel (maxed out), is there a way to bypass this 50% engine noise limit?
