Pretty huge improvement on PS5 for me. Performance was pretty much perfect on the quick go I had there. Seems like draw distance and foliage density has had a pretty big bump as well?

Fully agree on PS5! Just tested several hours on Monte-Carlo and Sardenga. It was a very smooth experience and I was able to shave some time of my pb's. It's like the smoother gameplay enables me to focus better on the car behaviour. I also feel the sound is a nice improvement. The extra bass is great. Everything sounds very clear and in good balance to me on default volume settings. I used the tv cinema profile. Maybe a bit less reverb would make the engines sounds less artificial/sterile (it would make it sound less like it was recorded in a studio) during replays while using TV cameras.
Thanks for all these improvements. I'm currently at 240 hours in this game and am eager to put in some more.

Same here. Not a hint of stutter or screen tear using various camera Bumper, Bonnet plus the 3 cockpit cams. However I watched a replay using just the wide angle camera ( can’t think of the technical term) as I noticed the car looked so much better progressing through stage. But as the stage went on screen tearing also increased. That said I very rarely watch replays so not something I find game breaking. But thought best to mention it.

@ScarDuck14 I also noticed that yesterday evening. Driving is smooth but the replay quality got worse. I often watch replays to see where I lost time or just to enjoy the spectacle.
Yesterday I did a few events at Estonia in the 98 Impreza. There was a lott of stuttering, tearing and low fps issues during the replay. At least we got a great driving experience on PS5, but there is still some room for optimization.
Btw I like what they did with the spectators during night events. The stages are getting more alive after each patch. 👍

No stuttering any more on PC either.
And colours also seem more crisp, I needed to tune down the screen, road was just too bright (very likely my screen settings, not a game issue).
Car also feels much better on asphalt, rear on FWD is now sliding and it helps in some turns. Not a velcro feeling I had before.
Well done, Codies 😉
