I’ve read a few articles that some game developers have had issues optimising their games on Xbox series X due to series S having limitations. Whether that’s true 🤷🏻♂️ As it could also just be easy for some developers to blame their shortcomings on Xbox.
What developers can’t do is optimise games for every kind of TV display a console is connected to. They optimise game to consoles hardware/software. Then it’s down to whichever console PS/Xbox to send information to TV. Problem with TV especially Smart TV is they have tons of background processes running that can cause slight latency issues. Also every TV manufacturer has their own fancy display software that prioritises enhancing TV and film picture. Which often has a detrimental effect on games: Which is obviously the reason for TVs game mode setting. Which disables most but not all processes that can cause issue.
this may not help at all but it’s worth trying. But ever since I followed a YouTube gurus tv and PS5 setup guide. Tens off thousands off hours off gameplay since and I rarely if at all get issues as severe as other players report on this game or F1 etc.
As it may be a while before a patch for the game addresses your issues. If you havnt already tried. Go to TV display settings and turn off everything that has either low/med/high/Auto setting or adjusts picture in real time. You don’t need these except the basic sliders (brightness/contrast etc) as picture is managed console display settings.
Also see if closing any other apps you may have open on your console. I personally find it I have YouTube open on my PS5 causes slight latency.
Also in game settings HDR brightness is set to 50 by default. I find 20 give or take a few clicks helps
Repeat: for me is 99% perfect.
I play on LG C1, after patch 1.5 no thearing problem for me.
