This post will be used to inform you about issues that the WRC® development team is actively investigating or working on that have been raised by the WRC® community.

How do I report a bug or issue? 

• Before starting a new subject in EA Answers, please check to see if we're already tracking your issue in the list below. 
• If you're not seeing the issue listed below, please visit the WRC® Bug Reports boards to see if someone else has already raised it.
• If you're still not seeing your issue, please report it using the template that displays when starting a new topic in WRC® Bug Reports. Please also attach any relevant files that you think would help the team verify your issue such as screenshots, videos, or hardware configuration files. For account-related issues please reach out to us via EA Help.

We are aware of a number of stability & performance issues affecting the overall experience, most notably:

 

• Multiple track locations (Mexico, Croatia, Monte Carlo, Japan)
• During the Chile - Rere track, minor stalls might be experienced when crossing a split
• On the Croatia - Hartje track, invisible collisions of track during quickplay Solo mode

Clubs, Moments, and Rally School:

• The player may receive an incorrect error message after finishing a Club event.
• Changing the event duration in Clubs removes all stages for that event.
• Medals not tracking when the ‘Average speed for 108kph or higher’ objective is required
• Using the R1 button in the Moments menu can result in seasons not being selectable from the archive tab as the tile is not highlighted
• The Moments carousel goes to the end of the list when the player switches from archives to current season
• Mr. Hollywood's Moment displays incorrect information about the Secondary objective when accessed in the Service Area before Stage 3
• All Moments are not translated from English to German
• The objective "Do not apply Handbrake" remains failed if selecting ‘Reset to Track’
• Unable to continue rally school lesson 3 after restarting lesson several times
• Lesson Pass Tick is missing during several rally school lessons

Device Input:

• PC and PS5 Logitech Pro Handbrake axis bindings are missing
• Following a restart steering wheels will not recentre until the countdown sequence ends
• Without highlighting "Pedals" as New device, presets will fail with unconfirmed selection
• The Thrustmaster Pedals Icon for the pedals is not used on the ‘Controls screen’.
• The Thrustmaster TM Open bindings for the ‘Red and Orange’ buttons are incorrectly shown in the ‘Edit Device Setting’ menu
• Secondary bindings are not stored in the merged final keybinding
• The warning icon may still show after resolving a dual-bound input
• After deselecting the detected device it will appear as grayed out
• On controllers, the input buttons are not present in the Selected Device control screen
• Wheels - Unable to dismiss the device changed message if a wheel rim is disconnected and replaced with another whilst in the controls screen
• Unsupported devices display as "Direct Wheel Input" instead of the device Driver Name
• The exclamation warning disappears on dual-bound inputs after returning from the detected device screen
• Xbox - Logitech Pro - Multiple actions are not mapped to any input
• Xbox - Clubsport Shifter SQ - "Gear 7" is not mapped to any input 
• Xbox - Formula v2 - Multiple actions are not mapped to any input
• Xbox - Logitech G923 - 8 button inputs are not mapped
• Logitech G923 & Racing Pro, LED "rev" lights are non-functional
• Players may encounter a pop-up warning "Steering Change" when ‘the keyboard’ is selected as input and using a controller to select a vehicle.
• PC - Attempting to rebind "Steer Left / Right" can result in multiple "Steering input device changed" prompts

Livery Editor:

• Decals may spread across the vehicle when applied to the rear Style #2 and Style #5
• Livery edits are not saved if an invite is accepted to a match lobby
• The livery "Reset Decal" action prompt is missing from menu 
• It's possible that vehicle decal does not apply on the roof or rear body part
• If fifteen or more liveries are saved, the game does not save new livery on first attempt
• The Livery Editor 'Confirm Save' function often fails, despite repeated attempts
• On GTX 1060 GPU the Fanatec and Flag Decals on vehicles have stretching glitch
• Liveries on the vehicle selection are not visible, these apply in the transition of the race

 

Other:

• Cannot overwrite a saved tuning type
• Voice chat does not re-enable after closing the game and re-launching with Quick Resume. 
• Cross-Platform players may appear offline in the "Invite Player" in a match lobb
• Speech to Text in game not working as intended when Speech to Text is 'On'.
• Incorrect labeling of the controls in Photomode 
• Co-driver calls are improperly triggered if the players stay in pause menu
• In the career screen 'Entry Open' might appear on Locked Events
• Split colour in Regularity Rally may appear as always green regardless of split
• Leaderboards can contain duplicate entries for both Session Best & Personal Best runs
• Sometimes the stage results in German overlap with timers
• When players create a lobby after they participated in a multiplayer session, their championship settings are set from the previous lobby
• There are inconsistencies with the Reset option in a number of settings menus
• Championship rename does not reflect the change in ‘Load Template’ after changes have been made in Champion settings for Quickplay solo
• An empty EA notification may appear after crossing the finish line with notifications off
• The amount of players inside a lobby does not update properly while receiving an invite
• Players may receive an "Unable to Join" message instead of "Failed to connect" when joining a lobby and disconnecting
• In the controls, edit device menu, pressing Unbind Action on the second or third mapped input binding causes the UI highlight to disappear

Display:

• Ultrawide:
• The 'Fullscreen' option does not list 11520*2160 resolution for RTX 4090
• During Event Podium, the camera is zoomed in and the vehicle does not fit in the frame
• During the vehicle selection screen the vehicle carousel is limited just to the center/single screen and does not extend to the width of the target resolution
• The camera is zoomed in at the Pre-Race Cutscene
• Several camera focus issues during Pre-race, Service station, and other cutscenes
• The game runs on a single monitor resolution upon booting with 'Fullscreen' display mode.
• On selecting the "Brightness & HDR" option the game switches from Ultrawide to a single resolution. (AMD Eyefinity/Nvidia Surround)
• Photomode on Ultrawide setup runs on a single/center screen in Replay Mode
• Resolution downsized when changing from an ultrawide to a generic monitor
• PC - The Display Mode remains Full Screen in the Options&Extras menu after the player presses "Alt+Enter" for Windowed Mode
• PC - Temporal or Fidelity FX - Visuals are heavily pixelated when using Anti Aliasing 
• PC - AMD RX 7900XT - AMD Eyefinity - the frame rate is not smooth on 5760*1080 resolution
• PC - RTX 40 series - 'DLSS Frame Generation' option is not available
• PC - AMD Eyefinity - The resolution displays as "Custom" and cannot be toggled during active gameplay

Audio:

• For a short duration during the career intro audio set to 7.1 is bugged to 5.1
• Audio does not revert back to previous settings after pressing "Discard Changes" on Mono Balance settings
