Audio options - Engine sounds

Agreed, sometimes I prefer the audio from a view I do not use.

@EA_BarryCan you add this option to the game? I play always onboard, but the exterior far the best sound, the downshifts are amazing!

At minimum a basic option for selectable sound mix independent of view
Or even better, "mix your own" to your liking with a sub menu of sliders

Has this progressed anywhere within EA?

Also, the Engine sounds need much more priority in the audio mix.
I need to have the co-driver and other sounds (Surfaces, etc) down at around 50% to get anywhere near a realistic level.

I'm using studio monitors with "TV" or "Headphone" mix applied

After some quick testing tonight, I have discovered the perfect audio mix.

If you roll a car about 6 times so that both doors are removed, you get the perfect mix of engine, exhaust and drivetrain sounds.

Just Make that mix the default 

The audio is horrible

Done! Getting my money back on this crud. I'm not putting that audio through my Bose speakers or any other speakers. Some cars are fine but whoever decided to make some cars awful was stupid. I'll never play this game, it's not worth it. I'll stick with Dirt Rally 2.0 - puts this game to shame. Duh !!! I'm just pissed I could not figure out a way to stop this horrible sound... makes no sense that a developer would put a feature in that makes me not play the game ever again and I will tell everyone else how bad it is too... I just don't need to troubleshoot their software when many others complain about the same thing - not something I can fix or even care enough to. There is just some really Dumb executives working at EA obviously.
