Flat, low and boring engine sound on cockpit - but without doors sounds amazing

Hi EA, after losing the doors in a crash, i realized that cockpit engine start to sound more agressive and louder. It feels more like real race car. I have played a lot of car games and sims, and i ...

@gabriel_m_1987 Hi, haha yea the cars sounds great with door off, that's because the exhaust sound is more present inside the cockpit.
But in real cars it is the same - with doors on, the car sounds less awesome!

Typically the sound from the exhaust is better..

thanks pow. but regardless i tell you. I used to have a car with a modified engine. Among others modifications, i had removed the muffler and improve the exhaust. The sound inside that car was spectacular and super loud. 
 
Some racers also, with the time, loose the hearing capability due to strong noise. The audio that you hear in real rally cockpit cam on online videos, is not the real sound either.  Example. Fire 9 mm gun in real life vs youtube video. Even with ear protection, the sound is explosive.
