Cheating is a non existant problem in WRC the way I see it. I don't care about a couple of blatant cheaters on the leaderboards. If you filter leaderboards for controller they're all gone anyhow. I enjoy rallying clubs, longer moments and stages in peace at a high pace. EA anti-cheat is by no means peaceful and this is not an online shooter where cheaters could plague the experience.
Furthermore I wouldn't have purchased this game half a year ago if kernel level anti-cheat was implemented. Sad to see a nice Codemasters game go, but I'm out until EA remove the kernel level processes.
I saw a YouTube video about AI anti cheat that creates a profile of how you play the game and knows if you're cheating or not, if you are and you get banned and try to make another account you'll just instantly keep getting banned as the biometric data is from how you play the game that the AI creates a the profile from it'll know if it's a bot as well etc
So right now ALL kernel anti cheats are a SCAM and one of the biggest scandals on tech ever.
