mate, its a great game, the fact you can pick it up an get enjoyment from it having never been on a rally game before shows how well codies have done with WRC. Its missing some features id like to see in a rally game, but all in all, its a very good game. I dont think theres anything out there without mods that allows us to drive in so many different real world locations. Iv been on rally games since sega rally 95, yet im enjoying the regularity rallies just to take in the scenary.

tips for getting faster, simples, turn off the HUD, just keep the rev counter if desired 😉

@mickeeiemouse69 Yeah I turned off HUD after I found myself crashing either when glancing to see if I was infront of the class leader or because I was over driving the car to catch up to the class leader. 😂. But one thing I can do in F1 games that I can’t do in this game. I like listening to fast, loud heavy metal when racing. But hearing co-pilot is obviously vital. I did try with just the indicators which didnt go well😂. Apart from the odd corner she calls to early or late which at night especially has me often going through the first gap I see and into a tree or off a cliff. I find I solely rely on and trust her instruction and do as she says: I react better to a female voice. I have daddy issues so don’t listen to or react well to other men telling me what to do😂.

Still sticking to Junior WRC in career despite I have won it. But even though I finish most stages in various events in career without damage now and finally got a handle off setting cars up on Asphalt so my confidence to dance alittle faster. I fear I won’t ever get to enjoy driving WRC Bonkers fast cars in career. Time waits for no man and I fear im at the limit off my old eyes and reactions using a pad.
However not end of the world. As there’s Plenty of cars to enjoy, And im really enjoying WRC as it’s first rally game I’ve ever played. What always put me off rally games was that I’m a circuit racer and I didn’t think I’d listen or understand Co-pilot in a game. However now she has my complete trust and I do as I’m told. Taken some time but now have controller settings that I’m happy with so not constantly tinkering. 80 sensitivity and 5 linearity is where I’m at. Linearity helps when I apply steering inputs and as I now have all the calls down from co-pilot my muscle memory now flicks my stick the right amount for every corner. So having a high sensitivity instantly straightens the wheel.
Also along with left finger braking and off throttle oversteer are skills Im getting so.much better at. And they are constantly dancing around on my triggers. Very much like a pro. Just in slow motion 😂
Plus tip for newbs from a newb. Take the time to develop your driving style in slower cars. They are still fun and plenty fast. Plus you can improve your skills without having to have on any assists. Not sure about top tear cars. But the lower tier all drive and handle better and easier with them off
