No TSS sparco mod+ input on PS5

Since my th8a shifter couldnt bind as a handbrake in WRC i bought a TSS sparco mod +. Ive installed it and updated all my drivers and to my surprise it doesnt register any input in game. It shows all devices (wheel, t-lcm pedals, TSS and also thrustmaster shifter (?) ) i can calibrate the wheel and pedals but when it comes to the handbrake no input is shown. Its connected to the t-300 wheelbase using the din plug and its the only add-on connected. Does anyone have suggestions how to make this work? Im allright not using the th8a for now and just use the paddles as shifters (however this should work as well i guess) but i would really like to be able to use the handbrake. So far this wrc game had been a dissapointing experience for me.
