Thanks for the nice and very respectful remark. Didn't actually think of using handbrake. However I think a ignition button would still be a good addition because real cars don't start with throttle. Also ignition button would still offer better and more easier control when your car is still moving. For example when your car is going backwards and you want to brake and start the car at the same time.
@Rekiotsufor what it's worth, I'm with you. I really dislike the stalling/restarting mechanics in the game. It should be standardized like other sim games, a button for IGN/Power and a Starter button. Contextually dependent on the clutch being in (for clutched cars).
I don't want to heel/toe the brakes with the throttle pedal to start the car, it's wildly uncomfortable. But if I don't, the car will roll with gravity.
Engine off > Apply Brakes > Apply Clutch > Press starter
