Regularity rally in Greece

After doing one stage of regularity rally in Greece with an H3 car, I feel like this feature was not properly tested.

Greece has lots of hairpins which will force you to go very much below the average speed for quite a bit of time, especially in slower cars, but the co driver will keep on asking you to lower your pace before those sections.

The stage map at the service area also doesn't let you see the splits, like how old Colin McRae Rally games do, so you can't see which parts you may need to speed up a bit in advance to compensate for the extremely technical sections.

It very quickly went from a cute little fun idea to a pretty annoying event, and I'm sure this isn't the only car and location combination that will have issues.

  • Hehe I agree, the "technical part" is impossible to be done in time, resulting in 15+ seconds penalty, even if you push it to the limits.

Looks like the pace analysis system they implemented is not so sophisticated - it does not take into consideration the hairpins and hard corners.

But the AI is easy enough to complete the event in Greece - take minimum penalty points in most of the stages and take on the chin the penalty points on the impossible one - you will still have much less than the AI considering all the stages.

But I agree, this could have been executed better.
