I fail to understand why there is only one sim racing game using PSVR2!
Please give us an alternative to GT7!
There’s no coming back from sim racing in VR.
Apparently from the codemasters discord, the info about it, is. That Sony and playstation haven't said that they want psvr2 support in the game.
So they don't plan on doing it..
I guess codemasters and EA, only want to squeeze money out of playstation if they're going to make it psvr2 compatible. They clearly have no other interest than to make max amount of profit, with the bare minimum of work.
Sadly the psvr2 owners seem to be way to stupid in general, to understand that they have to make their voices heard. Otherwise playstation will never know what the psvr2 players want.
And they will just continue releasing random "VR only" games.

I could be reading too much in between the lines here, but given Unreal Engine 5 was only released last year, the platform for WRC 23, then PSVR2 was only released earlier this year, then the delayed WRC release…I’m guessing they’re a little behind on development to start with to be able to squeeze in the work on PSVR2 for what otherwise would be a small number of users in comparison. If WRC is to be the yearly release like F1 then it’s likely we won’t see any VR2 support until atleast 24 onwards, rest assured they’ll be milking us as much as they can, it’s a business that exist to make money for share holders, think F1, no major innovation there since as far as I can remember maybe F1 2018… even further back. They’ll sell you WRC 23 because you can’t wait, it’d be loaded with issues and bugs, which they’ll fix and slap on a few more updates and on-sell as 24 the following year and so it goes the milking cycle. Or WRC could turn into that great evolving classic like the Gran Turismo series where the developers keeps building on it for a number of years staying loyal to their fans, time will tell.

Wow. I don’t think that was said at all on the Discord channel or I think you may have misquoted it.
The only statement from a Codies marketing guy, PJ, which is clear it’s his own conjecture, states:
if the game comes out on PS and runs 100% smoothly, and the PCVR version runs 100% smoothly, maybe Codemasters will have more confidence to explore PSVR2.
That’s all that’s been said. There is a bit more conjecture from him about moving to a new engine (Unreal from Ego) that might impact that decision but I can’t see how this is a problem.

Hey folks,
we don't have any further information on VR support currently, but I'm chasing this up and will let you know when we announce anything!
