Why would you assume that it hasn't corrupted my save files?
Other people are experiencing the same issue.
I did exactly what you described... step by step.... got everything from the cloud, reinstalled... and boom... crashes when I try to resume career.
I just imagine what would happen if the same issue happened to FC24 - you get a mandatory update delivered to you and then all of a sudden your career mode is unplayable
your Ultimate team got wiped. The net would melt down.... but because it's only a minority of players in a title that isn't one of their big ones... it's just "bad luck, fella" for me, I guess.
I DON'T play clubs or online or anything like that - there is never any lobbies or games available... all the rooms are empty so career mode is pretty much all the game offers to me and now it's been made rendered defective for some apparently mystical reason.
Like seriously, if you wanted your customers to go back to Dirt 2.0 and RBR Pro, which are superior games in my opinion, anyway, deleted their career mode saves, setiups and making them feel like it's their own faullt somehow is a great way to do it.
