Some questions for future updates of the game

I'm wondering if future updates to this game will improve the performance of the game, because at least my experience from 200 hours of gameplay on the Xbox Series X platform is clearly telling me that this is not what looks like a next-gen racing game, and how does that make sense, when you play the game in your living room, if you are close by the game's graphics are pretty bad, but when you're using your cell phone to make a video it's quite the opposite.

Question 1: At what stage will the game do a better console experience? At least in my opinion, the grass effect on the ground is even equivalent to WRC 2 (a 2010 game), which is very poor.

Question 2: Is it possible to selectively turn off the narrator voice? If it's designed for people with disabilities then this is a really great feature.

Question 3: As a game developed under the WRC license, the importance of the livery editor I think should be one of the great joys for the majority of fans, so why is the current editor so rudimentary and doesn't have relatively richer customization stuffs .

Question 4: If the next 5 years of licensing time doesn't mean one WRC game per year, is the paid DLC worth buying?

  • I really would like to get answers to these questions, too.

Don't get me wrong guys, EA Sports WRC is much better than I feared after I heared it's now an official WRC game and it's published by EA.

Both things pretty much guarantee a terrible game from the get go.

But the experience so far is not good enough to get me away from DR2.0.

I play on Xbox Series X and there is still a lot of tearing, wich destroys most fun with the game for me.

Also such smaller issues like vegetation goes through the car, skyboxes have vertical white sparkling seams on some locations, makes the game look really ugly from time to time.

Some car sounds and in game dashboards are worse than in DR2.0, wich I cannot understand, just copy and paste?

I mean, the old Alpine A110 cockpit gear lights don't work in this game...why?

It's not like you have a perfect reference in house you can rely on...

Anyway, as I said, it's still pretty good, some things are actually much better like career, delivered content, location design, rally lengths and a few other things.

I also put already a lot of playtime into this one, having completed the first 3 VIP rally pass seasons.

There is potential that this game can be really awesome, but please, get rid of the tearing. Please.

@UnderclassGDfan I'll be honest, I'm a racing fan of codemaster games, I own Dirt2, DiRT3, shutdown, Dirt4, Dirt rally, DR2.0, and Dirt5 on steam, and have been playing these games on PC and XBOX for 7 or 8 years now.
While I have the full suite of WRC games on Steam and XBOX, I prefer to play them on the big screen in my living room.

EA Sports WRC does have top-notch content at the moment, but the downside is there. I'm enjoying the realism that these official seasons bring, and it's a very different feeling than GT7, ACC, and FORZA.

There are more reasons why I enjoy playing WRC: there are no other players interfering with your driving line!

The 1.8.0 update doesn't mention any performance improvements for the console versions, they'll be doing advertisings and events for F1 24 soon, and the 5 VIP seasons of content will be completely finished after August.

EA Sports WRC still has a lot of room for improvement, probably because it's too LAZY!
