Mathematically each step is 0,5 degree, but I'm not sure if it's really so. Because I think that the road is small (I mean also the stones, bushes, etc) in comparison with what I see in AMS2 or iRacing. Also why don't they let us not just enter the correct vFoV instead of a slider from 0 to 100 without showing the resulting value?
The menu is more or less a buggy mess, they show buttons (e.g. inverse brake pedal) that are not available on my setup, or what is the meaning of down right button in yellow or blue?
My understanding is consistent with yours, and I would like to verify it
One question for EA
Why not the possibility to set the fov for ALL camera ? Please

Why not have the adjustment bar show 18 to 68 instead of 0-100?
It would also be nice if we could adjust it while in the car (like in ACC) so we can actually see what it looks like while adjusting the FOV. I've read the fov slider for DiRT Rally 2.0 used 3 degree increments below default middle position (55°?) but above that value moved in increments of 5° per tic
If it were uniform the default setting in WRC is 43°, which seems low
If the default is higher then using the below/above split they've done before the lower half or the range would move in larger increments (e.g. 0.7) while above smaller (e.g. 0.3)
🤔
fov setting appears to have zero effect on dash cam

Yeah it only seems to impact on 1 of the cockpit cameras.
What also annoys me as that the moving the seat back and forth option is really limited. In some cars it looks like I am to far back from the dash even after moving the seat all the way forward. yeah its really annoying, codies do the same thing in the F1 game it it really annoys me
- @Kırılmaz I think the fov setting is too limited. I'm one of those who likes wide-angle fov and being able to play away from the steering wheel. However, the game restricts this too much and I feel very close to the steering wheel ☹️

That's because the only camera that gets FOV changes in the car, along with seat movement, is the one where you can see the wheel. Apparently Codies went back to the 90's in terms of giving players reasonable quality of life features. It's pathetic.
