All the proposed additions on this thread would be super to have.
Based on my very quick entry into adding WRC support to my tool., here are the additional fields I think are needed. I am sure, there are other fields too, which were helpful.
- Tyre id (which tyre is on)
- Penalties
- Is the lap valid
- Event ID, TT/Championship
The current distance needs to be fixed. Maybe add to the current data a percentage showing, how far the driver has progressed (0% at start, 100% at the end of stage, when the SESE is sent). All other games send the position on spline in % or as a value between 0 and 1. Now the current distance does not allow proper telemetry comparisons.
If tyre wear cannot be sent, maybe add one field to the SESS to show current wear and the one field to SESE to show wear at the end. This already would be great addition.
