Indeed, stage progress. I was going to add something like this:
TIMING
- current sector number
- num sectors
- time for each sector in seconds (0 if not yet complete, counting up if in progress)
- class leader time
- class leader time at current position
- personal best (perhaps)
- personal best to current position (perhaps)
(anything else?)
I assume the team know about such a need anyway, but here it is.
A pulse for meters travelled so a Terratrip Rally unit can work. A Terratrip uses a Hall effect sensor mounted on the strut with the magnet on the rim. Simple but effective.
