WRC - Multiplayer Leaderboards and Tyre Strat

Hi EA,

I didn’t find this topic anywhere on the forums.  Can you look into the math in the multiplayer leaderboards as well as the tyres?  

The math never seems to total incorrectly, and players coming in late to a rally (say on stage 2 of 4) aren’t penalized for not having a time.

Also the tyres always start fresh every stage so there is no tyre strategy.

    @40a3c52ee595db7d In career you have to juggle your tyres around to last each event over 5+ stages.

    I’m assuming you don’t in Multiplayer so to everyone starts each stage on an equal footing so it’s solely down to how you perform on any given stage🤷🏻‍♂️. Which is in general how most racing games do it.

    @ScarDuck14 - this makes sense.  I guess if people are joining late in mp, everyone is on the same tyre.  My thoughts would be if the timing was working correctly, where they should receive  a penalty (fastest time + 5 min is WRC rules I believe), the tyre advantage would be negated.  

    I agree it does work in career mode.

    What about the timings though, are they off for you in MP?

    @40a3c52ee595db7d Sorry no clue with timings. I’m too old, and broken to put much time in multiplayer these days. Not fun getting my rear handed to me by 12ish year old. Especially as im also a professionally trained driver. 🙄😂
