WRC athmosphere

Hi everyone, I would like to present several details that I think would improve the atmosphere of the game.

Career Mode / Championship Mode:

  • Adjust the actual scoring model: The WRC World Championship in the game seems somewhat empty with 12 drivers, when in the real world, both WRC Hybrid and WRC-2 cars score for the WRC World Championship (as we can see in the attached image), in addition to having the WRC-2 cars their own championship.
  • The leaderboard screen is somewhat hidden in the calendar. I think it should be on the main screen of the mode, since being the official WRC game, this championship should be the most important thing, since in my opinion, the championship seems like just another event in the game mode.
  • It would be great to see the rankings of the rest of the divisions.
  • The leaderboard screen could have more information, for example being able to see the points breakdown per rally. (as we can see in the image).
  • I think it is necessary to better indicate when the player has repairs available, since it appears in a small icon.

Editor:

  • The editor could be more detailed, being able to mirror the layers to the other side, or add coordenates X Y.
  • add "neutral sponsors", which can be added regardless of the brand, such as, for example, the official sponsors of the WRC (Pirelli, AsahiKASEI, Fanatec, TW Steel, EA logos, ProGrade, etc).

Visuals:

  • I appreciate a decrease in the action of dust and mud on vehicles. In Dirt 2.0 we can see how the mud had texture, it did not look like an image on the vehicle and to my taste, it was incredible. In EA WRC, It seems that the dust is a progressive image, it lacks "naturalness".
  • The surface on which we run has no influence in terms of dirt either.
  • It doesn't look like the AI can be retired. It would add some immersion to see some abandonment or a broken down car in a ditch, some little crash, or somethink like that.

I love this game, but I think that taking these details into account, it could create a more focused atmosphere on the WRC and its license, and some of these small details can make a better visual experience.

I hope the people at EA can read this, greetings to all. See you in the mud! Thanks for your time.
