AMD GPU problems

I am having trouble with 7900 XT starting 2024 (24.X.X) drivers.

First FSR got broken, where it was crisp and fluid before, it became muddy and choppy.

Workaround 1: Using no upscaler. But without it the game was extremely non-sharp (with any antialias mode), but fluid tho.

Workaround 1.5: No upscaler + overriding anti alias in AMD Adrenaline. Sharp, but night tracks surface shimmers quite a lot and it is rather tiering for the eyes.

Workaround 2: Roll back to 23.12.1 drivers. FSR upscaler is crisp and sharp, game is fluid. But today in the 24km Club race the game crashed completely, no error message from game not AMD Adrenaline. For my long competitive result this was a nightmare.

I am updating to latest drivers and will turn off all AMD features just to be safe.

If you have any experience or advice, how to make the game sharp and fluid without losing stability, please share. Hope there is a way without switching back to Nvidia (seems very tempting right now).

If you have the performance headroom, try no upscaling, ingame TAA setting "Cinematic", then have a go of turning on "Virtual Super Resolution" and set ingame resolution one or two clicks higher than your monitors native, screenshot of the setting location attached, Since I dislike the effects on the image of the upscaling options and with lack of other AA options I've found this to help limit the blurriness of the image caused by TAA.

Thanks, I think it may be a good solution. Sadly for me the ingame resulution is capped at 2560x1440 also after Super resolution and windos resulution is pumped up. I am unable to change window and full screen modes also (haven't figured out why yet).

Temporary solution is to set AA to low in game. Override it with AMD 8x Supersampling and setting texture filtering to high.

I will keep experimenting on the go and update if I find a better solution.

So how's it going for you now, did you find the source of the stutter?
