Can you change where the game saves to?

I get slight video stutters every once in a while - I've tried reducing graphics settings and nothing seems to affect it so I assume this is to do with game accessing disks. My C drive is a standards type but my D drive is SSD so again I'm assuming things should be saved there 'in game'. SO....is there anywhere in the config files where I can check/change where these files are saved to?

BTW I'm playing on Steam. TIA
