Cars can‘t be repaired

After I selected the parts which shall be repaired, the total time needed appears in the clock on the right, e.g. 7 minutes. But the time isn’t running backwards and the car is not repaired at all. The repair button is then turned grey.

Automatic repairs in settings is turned off.

This happens on Xbox X with the lastest patch.

How can I repair any car?
