EA Anti-Cheat of 1.9.0 causes PC restart with Save destruction

After installation of patch 1.9.0 with the EA anti-cheat software I could still start and play the game.

However when I quit the game I could just see the desktop for some milliseconds. Then the PC crashed and restarted.

When I started the game again I got the message that the save data of my profile are corrupted.

The provided repair option was not successful. The progress of about 200 hours playing is lost.

The problem continued. Each time upon leaving the game the PC crashed and the save was destroyed again.

The system showed the bug code 32 for heavy driver crashes.

On this site I found the hint that the kernel level EA anti-cheat software collides with ASUS drivers.

I can confirm this and wish to highlight the severe risk that the poor EA AC software does not only crashes

the system but destroys the save data beyond repair and no option for recovery is provided as done by others.

I updated the ASUS drivers in the ASUS Armoury Crate especially for smart fan control.

I also disabled the system process of the Aura Sync light control.

This solved the problem in my case.

Thus, a warning to the users of ASUS hardware in order to prevent a save data loss.

My question to EA: What can be done by EA to secure and recover the save data now or in future?

…and please improve your anti-cheat software
