EA sports wrc & BFV when closing games causes pc to reboot

Everytime i end BFV or EA- Sports WRC the pc reboots, this happened originally with BFV and i never got a suitable reply from anyone. WRC reboots and i lose all my saved data.

Please don't ask if my pc meets requirements or to check drivers or windows update or even clear cache. Only ever had problems since the Origin app finished. getting beyond a joke now.

Battlefield 3 battlefield 4 battlefield 1 and hardline work perfectly-

  • same, everytime i close wrc it bsod my computer. allegedly its something to do with asus and its been known for over a year so dont expect a fix from this company anytime soon

  • I guess that you did not read my post from yesterday because it seems to be the same issue

about EA anti-cheat of 1.9.0 causing PC restart and destruction of save data.

The EA anti-cheat software collides with ASUS drivers.

Although it seems reasonable that a similar problem may happen with drivers of other companies as well.

This was already reported by others before. There it was also said to occur with other EA games with the EA anti-cheat.

In WRC the EA anti-cheat was only introduced with patch 1.9.0.

Therefore it started with your WRC not so long ago.

Without check I assume that your other game already uses the anti-cheat software for a longer time.

Thus, you should first update ASUS drivers.

Afterwards you can try to disable ASUS system processes until the crashes disappear.

I disabled light effects and kept fan control.

I understand your anger because I am also not amused to have lost my game progress of half a year intensive playing…

…on the other hand I admit to love the game just as the predecessors Dirt Rally 1 and 2.

Thus, it is more important to have this nice game running again…
