EA WRC not starting after 1.9 patch
At Steam, it shows the ea wrc mini splash screen and then it just comes back to the green PLAY button again.

After updating to version 1.9, the game crashes constantly and takes you to the desktop. It doesn't matter what stage it is. I am playing in quick race mode and at any moment the game closes and takes you to the desktop. With version 1.8 this did not happen. Please fix it. My PC has a 14700k, 32GB DDR5, 2TB NVME and RTX 4080 Super.

Could you try to run the game and EA app as administrator?
Also, if this doesn't solve the issue, could you do a clean install of the game?

I have tried running as administrator and I have also tried uninstalling it and doing a completely clean and new installation without success, it crashes randomly at different stages.
Do you guys have any other EA Anti-cheat games installed?
I have Battlefield 5 and Plants vs Zombies Battle for Neighborville installed, I wonder if there's a conflict or something.
And this website won't let me upload the crash dump files.
WTF is going on over at EA?
