EA WRC not starting after 1.9 patch
At Steam, it shows the ea wrc mini splash screen and then it just comes back to the green PLAY button again.

I'm having a similar issue. The EA WRC process does start up, I can see it in Task Manager and it has some activity, but it never transitions into an open app on my task bar.
I've tried:
* updating graphics card drivers
* reinstalling on a different drive (non-default locations on each drive)
* using the EA anticheat repair/installer thing
* running processes as admin
* using secure boot
It only started happening to me in the last couple of days so I have successfully played with the EA cheat stuff installed. I'm not aware of anything meaningful changing on my system besides perhaps a windows update.
I have the same issue. Steam shows that the game is running and the WRC process shows in the Task Manager but the game never starts.
I am happy to report that VR is now working again on my Quest 3 post v1.9 - I think they pushed a patch because now instead of saying v1.9 it says v1.9_vr_beta
Also I reinstalled to the latest nvidia driver 560.81
However I still like to know why is there No Devs at all here on the Forum helping or giving advice or telling about a fix and why did they release a broken patch ????
