Fanatec CSL DD and CSL Wheel P1 v2 are not recognized correctly. Instead it's recognizing as playstation version and showing icons from PS for button mapping. I tried edit/load device preset but it won't let me choose anything other than the PS version.
What s your Wheel me Formala V2 and 2.5 and dont work on bleue or purpple , desconnected evrery time , I have test to make off my gamepad , start with Wheel ans same issue dont work and only on EA WRC , it s good with over games
I have the same problem with my Fanatec GT DD Pro on my PS5, the device connects/disconnects every second. The wheel works flawlessly in other games and when I press the Ps button, the controls work in the PS UI interface, but not in WRC. Firmware is updated to current version for all components.
Same issue here on PC. My Fanatec CSL Steering Wheel P1 V2 is recognized by the game as a PS5 wheel and each 20 sec the game pause to tell me that the wheel is disconnected. The wheel is fine, I can press resume and continue but this still occurs every 20sec and makes the game unplayable. PLZ fix this, sad to not be able to play when you preordre.
Same bug for me i can’t use my gt dd pro on ps5 With this game. Buttons are not recognized. When I use my dualsense to go in option menu. I see my wheel base and wheel (gt ddpro and elite steering wheel wrc) in twice. I CAN’T CHOOSE THEM . IT S terrible. my other games works very Well.
Sam, my wheel is reconized as a ps5 wheel on PC. Weird playstation mapping.
Small update: I just realized that I had the base in compatibility mode (yellow) instead of PC mode (red). I thought this may have been a solution, but just tried it and the wheel itself is still being recognized as the PS5 version for some reason. ☹️
@Sgtpaper67The Compatiblity Mode is for the older games, as in this mode, the CSL DD will act as a ClubSport Wheel Base V2.5.
Also, depending on the wheel rim attached on the Fanatec wheel base, the game will use either the generic button prompts, the Xbox button prompts, the PlayStation button prompts or the colored button prompts. In your case, the game is showing the PlayStation button prompts because you have the generic version of the CSL Steering Wheel P1 V2 attached instead of the Xbox version (which has the Xbox face buttons).
Interesting, so WRC doesn’t have the ability to show the generic wheel’s numbers and icons instead of the ps5 ones?
like, it would be nice to just be able to select which wheel face you have instead of it assuming the wrong one.
