    HI @thy1144

Can we try the following and check for any changes?

    • Clear the systems cache (Close the game completely > Turn off the console > Wait 30-60 seconds > Restart and Relaunch)
    • Check for updates
    • Restore Licence
    • Entering Safe Mode and Rebuild your PS database

    Thanks!

I did all of it and nothing changed.
I think the problem is more complex

My ps5 and wheel working together very well for long time.
EA WRC 2023 is the only game where i have problems.
When im turning the wheel left or right to 90 degrees its keep telling me: „Warning, your controller is disconnected from the game.” And then im going back with the wheel to normal neutral position and its working again and when im turning it…

  • I think that maybe this is a problem.
Game sees two wheels and making one - primery. When im deleting the second one and leaving controls menu and than im comming back - its there again.
I also have only GT wheel, DD pro base and load cell kit. Game sees also the clubsport shifter and in the second setting which i cannot delete clubsport handbrake which i both dont have.
Make a fast patch please, otherwise there is no point to have early access game.

  • Do you have a handbrake in place?

I had a similar problem with my handbrake. Everytime I moved my handbrake, I got the warning "device disconnected" or "deviced changed". It also detected 2 devices: my setup with handbrake and the same without handbrake.

The reason was the handbrake itself. If you open it there is a screw to adjust the spring. In my case I guess it got a little bit loose during playing, so that it was out of the range when in zero-position and the game detected it as disconnected. Whenever it was moved slightly, the game detected it as connected. In my case this happened also when switched a gear on the shifter which is mounted together with the handbrake. The movement of the shifter was enough to shake the handbrake that little bit to connect/disconnect. So, maybe turnung your wheel causes something similar...

My solution was to tighten the screw a little.

At least I recomment to calibrate all your fanatec devices using the fanatec software on your PC.

I didn't have such problem on any other game but it seems this game is not very tolerant if something is not calibrated 100% on fanatec side.

  • @ton1144 Salut. J ai aussi le même problème avec les deux roues d affiché et mon frein à main ne fonctionne pas. Besoin d aide surtout pour mon frein à main fanatec
  • I have this problem too and none of the support advice has helped. This needs patching please.

  • I have a very similar problem driving a car then wheel disconnecting. Have to restart ps5 then it works but can’t drive any more than a minute before the same happens. My system works fine with other games . So it’s definitely an ar sports WRC specific problem and I just can’t think of any solution!!

  • This problem was acknowledged by PlayStation store and they are refunding customers if you go through the hoops to complain that the game is broken on ps5 with fanatec GT DD pro

  • Also have issues with DD pro haven't had disconnect issues but the seems to crash my wheel losing all feedback and stick on the start line reving, close and restart it works for a stage then next stage it doesn't pretty pissed as it works fine on all other games must be a game issue
