Hey, Folks.
Wanted to jump on in and let you know that this was reported to the team previously. I have not seen an update yet but the team would like to get some more info from everyone who is not able to use these. I've seen some older reports with workarounds but need details from players still having and just started having these issues.
Not all below will apply, so what does not you can skip. As much info as you can helps!

- What type of issue do you have?
- Which mode has this happened in?
- Which part of the mode?
- Summarize your bug
- How often does the bug occur?
- Peripherals used for the game:
- Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves?
- What happens when the bug occurs?
- What do you expect to see?
- PS4 Crash Reporting: Please copy the text you put in the crash report here.
- What is the AMD or Nvidia Model Number of your graphics card?
- Enter RAM memory size in GB (If applicable)

Wrc ps5 The game recognises I have a wheel but not the dd extreme seen it as dd pro, set it to primary but can only do that with a controller no buttons at all work on the wheel set, set a quick run with controller had accelerator handbrake held then when I released handbrake and then went nowhere Bala101

My DD Extreme is recognized as a CSL Elite in the game. I can use the wheel to drive however I cannot use the wheel to navigate menus or hit pause etc. I must use a separate controller to navigate all menus and settings. This was never an issue with my DD pro. Hope this gets fixed ASAP as I play WRC 90% of the time.

Fanatec DD Extreme wheel + base
Game doesn't appear to recognize this specific wheel. I am unable to progress beyond the opening splash screen to the main menu. Once game boots up it announces "Press the cross button to start". The cross button does not function.
When using Fanatec Formula V2.5 wheel all controls function as intended. Wheelbase is operating normally.
When using DD Extreme wheel with other games the Cross button functions as intended. Wheel itself is fully operational.

Hi,
Game: EA WRC
Plattform: PS 5
Input device: Fanatec Clubsport DD+
Wheel: Podium Monte Carlo Rally & F1 V2.5
When I Start the Game with the Rally Wheel attached, the Base is not recognized at all. Moreover, the Game does not even show the x-button Icon to proceed from the starting screen.
If I equip the formula wheel, at least the x-button shows up, so I can move fortward to the Main Menu and from there to the settings to configure the Wheel. The DD+ is recognized as a CSL DD but I can configure everything and set up buttons to my liking.
But if I then move on to any Race-Mode, no matter if Race, Time Trial, Career or what ever, and the session starts, the car refusses to move forward. Throttle, brakes, gears, Handbreak, everything works, but the Car stays in place.
I own the Game for Month now and spend hours and hours in the menu but didn‘t managed to drive a single inch with a wheel. Very disapointing.
Changing the Wheelbases mode from PS5 to PS4 or even Compatibility-Mode Shows also no effect.
The Controller Works fine by the way.I really Hope you guys can sort this out - keep my fingers crossed.

Game is still incompatible with DD Extreme wheel, which was released on February 9th, 2024. It's been nearly ONE YEAR.
I have supported and defended the game on message boards and forums since it's initial release. I can no longer do so. This is categorically unreasonable.
I've been unable to play the game significantly longer than I was able to play it.
Message I received from Fanatec's Level 2 tech support earlier today:
"Good morning (redacted),
Today, I got the needed feedback regarding your problem. What I initially asumed in your case has now been confirmed.
Our IT/Development department is already aware of the fact that the GT DD X steering wheel has not yet been implemented by the game developer. (emphasis mine)
We´ve just forwarded this once more, according to your case, but have to kindly ask you for your understanding, that we can not influence this any further, as sorry as we really are. Therefore, we unfortunately have to wait until the steering wheel will being updated by EA WRC. (again, mine)
If you have any else questions in the meantime, please don´t hesitate to let us know. Otherwise, we will now close this ticket as solved. If you will ever experience another error with your items, just create a new support ticket via your Fanatec-Shop account, and we will gladly assist you, shortly."
This is a problem on your end, EA. Do better.
