G923 not recognised on Xbox series X

Product: EA SPORTS™ WRC
Platform:Xbox Series X
Summarize your bug Logitech G923 is not recognised properly. Device type in advanced settings is grayed out and says "This device connected cannot be recognised..." Some vibration/FFB settings are missing and there isn't any TrueForce. The device name is correct in detected devices list
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Connect G923 to Xbox series X
What happens when the bug occurs? The device is not recognised properly and therefore is missing some key config options
What do you expect to see? G923 to be recognised, all the neccessary options available and working TrueForce.

  • I have managed to get vibration working but not sure which of the following fixed the issue. 

    1. I turned off Soft Lock in the wheel/advanced section and the next race worked fine with vibration & feedback.  I turned soft lock back on and everything was still fine. 

    2. I also unplugged the USB to the wheel while the game was active and then plugged it back in again. 

  • It's not the soft lock that fixes it for me but unplugging the usb for the wheel and plugging in again while the game is running. The issue does return so it's not a permanent fix.

    @bobbaroonie It happens for me every time, but unplugging the wheel then reconnecting sits it. Unnecessary wear on the connector though!
