Today I contacted Epic Games support again. I told them that nothing has happened from EA for over a week. They said that since it's not their game they can't help me. All they offered me was a refund. So nothing from them either. I'm starting to get really angry.

I have the same problem and epic games tells us to contact EA about this. EA can't offer a solution. We can't really play the game we paid for. We are victimized.
