On Xbox, the steering wheel is not recognised and doesnt appear in the controller list. I can use the wheel fine in other games, eg Forza, F1 22, but in WRC the wheel doesnt show up.I'm not sure what actions to take. I've done extensive searches in the usual places but no one is reporting that their wheel isnt being recognised..

@amx109109 It is noted that update 1.4.0 had been deployed to all version of the game. Is the wheel detectable and usable after the update?

If you have access to a PC, you could check if updating the G923 firmware has an effect.

@EA_Barry thanks for the suggestion. I updated to the latest firmware on my PC using Logitech G Hub, but i'm afraid it hasn't changed the behaviour. The wheel is still not recognised by WRC.

Hi Team,
Please note update 1.4 has still not solved the compatibility issues for the LogiTech Shifter and the G923 wheel on Xbox Series X. The game does not recognize the Logitech H-Pattern shifter. I am still unable to rebind any of the H-pattern shifter gears to handbrake also. This is severely limiting my play time, as you can neither use the shifter as intended, or remap it to use it as a handbrake.

My steering wheel works, but the attached shifter is still not being recognized after update 1.4. I think its some sort of hardware compatibility issue for sure.

My shifter sometimes won’t work, solution that always work is to quit game completely, unplug the wheel and plug it back in. Always fixes it for me.

hi, thank you for letting me know about the update. i downloaded it last night, and the wheel is now recognised and works! there are some features which dont seem to be supported, such as shift lights, but ill take what i can get. thanks.
for other readers i tried various combinations of:
plugging the wheel in before starting the xbox
plugging the wheel in before starting WRC
plugging the wheel in after starting WRC
using the wheel with another game before starting WRC
uninstalling and reinstalling WRC
none of those worked until the 1.4.0 update. this time the wheel was plugged in before the game started, and upon starting the game i got a notification about a new controller and then the wheel calibration screen.

I tried this and it worked, but the next time i tried to play i had to do the same thing, while Im happy there is a work around, I shouldn't have to do this each time I want to play

I have a logitech g923 steering wheel and xbox series x. Why doesn't the trueforce feature on xbox series x work? Why is it only compatible on PC and Playstation? I await a response from EA Thank you
