I do not consent to the new terms of use for EAWRC that forces users to install a widely untested, unvetted, and proprietary AC to continue playing. I demand a refund for my full purchase as I can no longer play because of a change EA and CM forced through.
Please work with Steam to expedite this user request to get refunds granted to people who do not accept the changes. Thank you.
They do not care and Steam will not refund. It is criminal but this is what we get from unscrupulous greedy publishers like EA who screw the devs making the game and also the customers.

I contacted EA support to figure out what was possible and after getting through two different agents asking me similar questions (similar to what you get if you call your cable support, them asking you if you plugged your TV) and giving random instructions such as stopping system services from Intel used by the cpu/mb, the second agent ended up telling me, quote "you bought the game almost a year ago we cannot support you further".
So yeah, I guess they won't refund, but they also won't get any further money from myself.
Also, out of curiosity I checked further and the same issue is affecting all of EA games basically, whatever the launcher, whatever the systems, so it is linked to the anti-cheat and whatever conflict it may have with the end user machines, nothing to do with the game version. The game team, Steam, EA app developpers,... can most likely do nothing about this. The Anticheat development team need to do something so that all games can work properly again for all users. Right now, it seems the Anticheat is looking for Origin on folks where the issue appears... I mean Origin was discontinued more than a year ago...
